GENERAL RULES AND INFORMATION
- necessary preorders are preorders that are open for a determined amount of time and if the necessary preorder slots are not filled, all orders will be refunded once the predetermined time window closes
- please only purchase ONE of each variant for a design (1 gold, 1 bn ✅ 2 golds ❌) this also applies to those who preorder and are going for in hand drops also. the duplicate item will be refunded.
- any designs in stock cannot be sold for more than original cost excluding shipping. any sold out designs cannot be sold for more than (2x the original cost) + shipping NOT (2x the original cost+ship). pls wait 2 weeks from shipment date before trading or reselling any pins received. any breaking of this rule will result in a warning or a ban. the time limit rule does not apply to preorders; however, resale pricing rules STILL APPLY to preorders.
- i do not offer refunds for preorders because that money is used towards the production of the pin. no refunds for buyer’s remorse.
- for drop buddies: my policy is that if you and a drop buddy both score a drop, the order will not be cancelled UNLESS you find someone who would like to take over that order. BOTH you and the person interested are responsible for notifying me for confirmation. i will then change the address to the new person's address. should the drop buddy choose to keep the pin, trading/reselling time limits AND resale pricing rules STILL APPLY. breaking this rule will result in a warning or ban.
- all pins are LE or LR designs. my story highlight of “pin info” will list the different LE numbers for each design once they are retired. (no standard number). however i reserve the right to adjust LE numbers as i see fit. this does not rule out the possibility of small restocks after initial sell-out for LR designs depending on interest. LR designs will eventually be retired after a few restocks at my discretion.
SHIPPING AND ORDERS
- combined shipping is only available for multiple orders made during the SAME in hand drop or unless stated otherwise in my instagram stories should i choose to offer this option. shipping insurance can be purchased in the same order or after in a separate order (shipping will be charged on it because i haven't figured out a way to not charge for it on this one item but shipping overages will be sent back when i print labels/ship orders as i do for all combined shipping orders).
- sometimes i will combine shipping on my own and will send shipping refunds afterwards. however, this is by no means a guarantee (as it all depends on my time, whether i'm paying attention to repeat names etc). for a guaranteed combined shipping when the option is offered, please send your name and the order numbers to [email protected] with a request to combine. all combined shipping refunds will be sent after shipping out orders/printing labels. combined shipping emails will receive slightly less due to payment processor fees.
- preorder rounds are classified as the preorders i hold within the same month. for example, an item preordered during my march preorder round cannot be combined for shipping or insurance with an item preordered during a later april preorder round. any exceptions to this will be stated in a story update.
- international buyers may have me hold their packages for up to THREE pins within TWO successive preorder rounds (meaning the preorder round after the initial order PLUS the one after that) only IF they notify me by email. buyers are also responsible for notifying me again within this time period to cease holding in order for any excess shipping refund to apply. otherwise i will ship it out as is once this limit has been reached. buyers must pay shipping each time they check out, but will be refunded overages if they notify me.
- EU/UK BUYERS: since i do not have many international customers especially from the EU/UK, the best course of action for EU customers and me is for EU customers to find a USA drop buddy or send to a USA address/friend who can then send the item as a gift to the EU customer. (i do not hold any responsibility after the pin arrives at the USA address). intl customers can contact me within the SAME day the order is placed to change the shipping address to a USA address. i will refund the shipping difference between intl and domestic rates once the package has shipped.
- usually i do not have a EU/INTL separate drop. if i do, this information will be communicated via my instagram posts or stories.
- disclaimer - ANY ORDERS MADE REGARDLESS OF THIS TO AN INTL/EU/UK ADDRESS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL VAT/CUSTOMS FEES. If the custom fees are not paid and the package is returned to me, I will NOT be refunding the shipping fee.
- i offer shipping insurance. this can be purchased at any time before the label for your package has been made (best to not put it off). make sure to include the order number(s) for the packages you want to insure. insurance cannot be combined on an in-hand drop and a preorder. insurance also cannot be combined for preorders from DIFFERENT preorder rounds. i am not responsible for lost packages after they leave my hands if insurance is not purchased. i will try my utmost best to get your pins to you but some things may be out of my hands. you must file a claim with your mail provider and i will assist you with anything needed on my part. in the case of missing or stolen mail, if there is no insurance on the package it is out of my hands. if there is insurance for the package, i will claim the insurance and either refund or replace the item (replacement option is dependent on stock inventory at the time of issue).
- i am only one person doing this in my spare time, so if i make a mistake with your order and you can document it for me and notify me within 20 days of receiving it (with proof of order, opening/unpacking video etc) i can: offer a partial refund if you choose to keep the pin OR offer a full refund if you choose to return the pin (buyer pays half of return shipping).
GRADING SYSTEM
all pins are handmade. as such, slight dusts and specks may be present regardless of grade. those i consider noticeable will be counted as a "flaw." consider me a lenient grader to be safe. i try to list common flaws for each design (because it varies from batch to batch, manufacturer to manufacturer) in my drop post descriptions or my story on my instagram so please stay tuned to those!
flaws may include, but are not limited to: dust, specks, color marks, errors in screenprint, scuffs in screenprint, uneven enamel fill, missing enamel, scratches and dents, tarnish of metal lines. flaws do NOT include screenprint covering enamel lines due to the nature of the screenprinting process (this can be fixed with acetone on a q tip).
flaws are also graded based on location, usually on a scale of proximity to the face. flaws on the face are considered more severe than flaws elsewhere. flaws only seen at an angle are graded more leniently than those visible at a face-on angle, etc.
pins are graded based on how they affect how the pin looks at an arm length's distance (i have short arms). if you have to bend your head or squint to inspect a flaw, it is considered more minor than those you can see from farther away.
pin backs and backings are not inspected during my grading process (i do not remove the clasps), and as such do not contribute to the grade of a pin. marks may be visible on the back of a pin due to the pin-making process. thank you for your understanding.
- a grade: ranging from none to 3 small flaws under natural light. giving myself some wiggle room when i saw 3 but nothing noticeable that takes away from the pin except under close inspection (closer than arm's length away or at an angle under light)
- ab grade: right between a and b grade, mostly pins with an accumulation of small flaws that i don’t want to call an a grade or one larger flaw (within reason - such as dust, marks) that occurs in a place away from the main center of the design.
- b grade: combination of 1-2 noticeable flaws and 1-3 small ones (but NOT 2 noticeable flaws PLUS 3 small ones) under natural light. noticeable flaws take away from the pin's design.
- bc grade: similar in theory to ab grade. more flaws than a b-grade both noticeable and unnoticeable under close inspection. multiple flaws that take away from the pin's design.
- c grade: 3 noticeable flaws or more under natural light to the point it takes away from the pin design (miscolored areas, areas lacking fill or color, etc). these flaws are usually more fundamental in nature (wrong color fill etc).
- by ordering a ab/b/bc/c grade pin you acknowledge this grading system and that these items cannot be returned
- please understand that as a pinmaker my grading system may be a bit more lenient relative to others (hence the bigger numbers so i could give myself wiggle room for error). all purchases acknowledge this disclaimer.
